Do I need to install anything to enhance a picture online?

What file types and sizes are supported?
JPG/JPEG, PNG and WebP, up to 20 per batch. There is no file-size cap — a 50 MB picture loads fine because nothing is uploaded. The AI pass reads up to 4 megapixels on GPU-accelerated devices (0.7 MP on CPU-only) and outputs up to 40 megapixels.
How does an online tool match the quality of desktop software?
The AI engine is Real-ESRGAN (realesr-general-x4v3), the same open-source super-resolution model used by many desktop and server-based tools. Running it in the browser through WebGPU or WebAssembly is a delivery choice, not a quality compromise — the model weights and architecture are identical.
